use various bullet projectiles to disassemble a 3d holo dummy piece by piece, and reverse it back into place by holding "R" 

Switch to melee and toggle full dynamic swing controls or use both arms to make a chopping swing in any direction to dismember.

The holo dummy has layers to cut through that react differently, such as flesh, blood, gore, and bones.
